The programme

The programs for students and teachers are mainly separate. The focus for students is their group work, discussions, and outcome of ideas and most needed actions. The preliminary assignment, which students are advised to complete before the summit, has a significant role in this.

Correspondingly, teachers get to know about Finnish education system, teaching natural sciences, forests, carbon farming project, sustainable practices, wooden constructions, circular economy, and inquiry based learning, for instance. We also want that teachers from North would find twin schools from South during this event.

Please note that this program is preliminary, there might be some changes. The summit is over 5 June by 1:30 PM local time in Finland.
